Estas botellas representan las mejores vendimias de Rioja de los \u00faltimos 50 a\u00f1os, calificadas como excelentes por el Consejo Regulador. \u00c9sta es la cr\u00f3nica de un descorche hist\u00f3rico.<\/b><\/p>\n

Alada 2005: 36 \u20ac (18 puntos); 6. A\u00f1ada 1994: 32 \u20ac (16,5 puntos); 7. A\u00f1ada 2001: 50 \u20ac (16 puntos); 8. A\u00f1ada 1995: 110 \u20ac (18,5 puntos). <\/p>\n

 El tiempo pasa, pero expertos y aficionados siguen afectados de riojitis, una dolencia muy extendida cuyo s\u00edntoma m\u00e1s evidente es aquel por el que el infectado se acerca a la barra del bar y pide \u00abun rioja\u00bb en lugar de \u00abun vino\u00bb. Como si no concibiera cualquier otro tinto que no fuera riojano. En todo caso, no es una afecci\u00f3n dolorosa. M\u00e1s bien al contrario: puede resultar beneficiosa para el paladar. Incluso aquellos que estamos vacunados contra los excesos aduladores tenemos que reconocer que los de esa regi\u00f3n son los tintos m\u00e1s elegantes de Espa\u00f1a, caracterizados por la clase, potencia y finura de aromas que, en un delicado juego de contrapesos, da lugar a la m\u00e1s anhelada de las virtudes de un caldo: el equilibrio.<\/div>\n

Hace unas semanas, unos pocos afortunados pudimos refrendar esa gran virtud. La ocasi\u00f3n fue -hay que decirlo- inmejorable: una comida convocada por la notable enoteca Lavinia y el Consejo Regulador de Rioja, en la que se sucedieron hasta ocho vinos de marcas consagradas, procedentes de otras tantas cosechas calificadas como excelentes y que destacaron en los \u00faltimos 50 a\u00f1os.<\/div>\n
La botella de Marqu\u00e9s de Riscal cosecha de 1958 se abri\u00f3 con unas tenazas al rojo vivo y no con un sacacorchos, tal como mandan los c\u00e1nones. <\/div>\n
Para esta cita, Lavinia adecu\u00f3 su remozado Espacio Gastron\u00f3mico y el chef de la casa, el franc\u00e9s \u00c1ngel Garc\u00eda, prepar\u00f3 un men\u00fa concebido para armonizar con estos monumentos. Toda una fiesta para los sentidos que comenz\u00f3 incluso antes, en el aperitivo, con el \u00fanico blanco de la reuni\u00f3n, aunque fuera de programa: Vi\u00f1a Tondonia Gran Reserva 1993, que se mantiene fiel a los modos de anta\u00f1o: vinificaci\u00f3n en madera y una larga crianza en viejas barricas, hasta que la Viura comience a dibujar una elegancia inusitada, propia de los grandes blancos del mundo. Que su a\u00f1ada m\u00e1s reciente sea la de 1993 lo dice todo: se trata de un blanco ajeno a las modas, elegante y ex\u00f3tico, que deber\u00eda ser expuesto en los museos.<\/div>\n

Despu\u00e9s se present\u00f3 el primero de los grandes tintos: el Marqu\u00e9s de Riscal 1958. Un vino hist\u00f3rico que s\u00f3lo puede conseguirse en las polvorientas cavas de Laguardia o en una subasta. Como mandan los c\u00e1nones, el del 58 no fue descorchado de la manera tradicional, sino degollado con unas tenazas al rojo vivo (el lector queda advertido: no pretenda repetir esta operaci\u00f3n en casa). Una vez en copa, se mostr\u00f3 un poco cerrado, pero a\u00fan vivo y con muy buena evoluci\u00f3n. En todo caso, es una etiqueta para disfrutar desde una perspectiva hist\u00f3rica, como bien se\u00f1al\u00f3 Marie Louise Banyols, jefa de Producto de Lavinia: \u00abNo lo puedes beber como si fuera un vino de los que est\u00e1n en el mercado. Hay que degustarlo pensando en la historia, en la gente que lo hizo, en la tierra de donde viene. Es entonces cuando comprendemos que es una referencia con raza y categor\u00eda\u00bb. Fue acompa\u00f1ado por una tarta de boletus.<\/div>\n
